I’m not sure what to make of the upcoming SciFi Channel miniseries Tin Man… The casting looks choice, but some of the creative choices in this Baum reinvention seem a bit contrived (Referring to the other side as the O. Z., for example. Really? I half-expect a “you heard these great songs during this episode. Buy them on iTunes, you hipster, you” with the closing credit roll).

What I am sure of is that they employed some great artists to design the Tin Man universe, as seen in the Zoomquilt-inspired Infinite OZ. (via cpluv)
